Let me start by saying I don’t have a clue what I’m doing. I’m a mum, who has started to write things to help me with my son’s diagnosis of Type 1 diabetes. I’ve got lots of ideas about how I would like to raise awareness, fundraise for various diabetes charities and support parents and caregivers of children with type 1. All of this will take some time so for now I’m just going to dump some words on here and see how it goes. Please feel free to share this post if you think it will help anyone and if you are a parent or caregiver of a child with Type 1 diabetes I hope it can go someway to making you feel less alone.
